The acclaimed evolutionary biologist, best-selling author and Fellow of the Royal Society, Professor Richard Dawkins, will be speaking at the Wills Memorial Building in Bristol on Saturday 24th August 2013. All profits will go to the Alfred Russel Wallace Memorial Fund to finance a major bronze statue of Wallace. The statue to be unveiled by Sir David Attenborough at the Natural History Museum on 7 November 2013, the exact centenary of Wallace’s death.
